About Cheung Do Kwan

As a member of the Hong Kong, China Taekwondo Association, KUKKIWON, and Korea Taekwondo Association (Hong Kong), our school’s students have numerous chances to participate in competitions. Moreover, being part of the Hong Kong, China Taekwondo Association allows us to take part in national team selection events where we have nurtured Hong Kong National Team Athletes.

About Hong Kong, China Taekwondo Association Competitions

Hong Kong Taekwondo Association is the official Association for Taekwondo in Hong Kong. To compete supporting documents are needed and are listed below.
1) HKTKDA Patch on UPPER LEFT ARM
2) HKTKDA MEMBER CARD or HKTA BLACK BELT CERTIFICATION (FOR BLACK BELTS)
3) 4 PASSPORT PHOTOS
4) WHITE COLLAR DOBOK (AGES 15 AND UNDER) OR POOM COLLAR DOBOK (AGES 15 AND UNDER, BLACK BELTS)
5) BLACK COLLAR DOBOK (AGES 16 AND ABOVE, BLACK BELTS)
5) HKID

What is the difference between HKTKDA competitions and other local competitions?

Achieving victory in the Black Belt HKTA Competition provides students with the opportunity to join the Hong Kong National Taekwondo Team, and wins in association-organized competitions are highly regarded by schools.

About Cheung Do Kwan Competitions

Cheung Do Kwan competitions rank among the biggest local events in Hong Kong, these competitions aim to encourage students and prepare them for the official Hong Kong tournaments. To better support and develop our students, participation in our competitions is by invitation only. We also organize semi-annual interschool Sparring contests, yearly Poomsae competitions, and overseas Summer Korea Camp Competitions to help students expand their Taekwondo experience.

All poomsae competition will follow the World Taekwondo Federation Rules and Regulations

About KTA Hong Kong Competitions

Must be a official member of Korea Taekwondo Association Hong Kong that is association with the Korea Olympic Committee in Hong Kong.
